Spiral Wound Gasket - LS
‘LS’ stands for ‘low stress,’ and it is used for the areas where low tightening force is required. It can stably seal the pipe at a lower tightening pressure than that of the general spiral wound gaskets and can be used up to ASME 300 CLASS of working pressure.
When tightened with high tightening force, LS can be damaged. Thus, it is recommended that users tighten this gasket at bolt stress no higher than 25,000psi.
