The KR 12 gasket that uses a copolymer of acrylic acid alkyl ether and Dichloroethyl vinyl ether (or acrylonitrile) and is referred to as acrylic rubber or polyacrylic rubber. Since it has an unsaturated group in its molecular structure, it has excellent resistance against heat and oil. ACM is better than NBR in terms of thermal resistance. However, it is a little weaker in terms of strength. Thus, it is used as a material for high-temperature and low-pressure sealing.
